The City of Chesapeake in Virginia needed to replace a 20+ year old bridge at Chesapeake City Hall. The bridge sits on the most traveled route from the parking area to the complex, in a natural area with heavy tree cover. While beautiful, the heavy tree cover meant the bridge surface was frequently wet and slippery.

Each solution that was tried presented its own set of problems. In the end, it was decided to go with a covered bridge with a green metal roof to match the new CFP shelters that were recently added to the complex. A covered bridge designed and built by Bliss Products and Services, Inc.
