Venezia Park – Florida
To provide much-needed shade over the playground at Venezia Park, the Asst. Director of Public Works turned to Jim Carruthers, the Bliss Products and Services representative for Florida, Sarasota/Ft. Myers region.
Following an on-site evaluation, Jim suggested installing shade sails by removing an existing roof from the play structure. With approval secured, the new shade sails were installed, offering kids relief from the intense sun.
This straightforward solution had a significant impact, allowing families to enjoy the playground comfortably under the Florida sun. While it might not be the most glamorous project, Jim and the Bliss Products team were delighted to work with local parks to enhance the playground’s comfort and accessibility.
Ensuring play spaces are safe, shaded, and enjoyable is what truly matters! Another successful collaboration in the Sarasota/Ft. Myers area.
