Recognition, client comments, and project support for schools and parks across Alabama

Alisa Coble, Bliss Products and Services North Carolina East Sales Representative

Hoover High School, Track Shelter,
Alabama

Successful playgrounds and park spaces come from many people working together. With the designers, engineers, and installers at Bliss Products and Services, Alabama schools, municipalities, HOAs, and community groups can move from early ideas to clear, buildable plans. The focus is on outdoor spaces that hold up to Alabama heat, sun, and year-round use and remain straightforward to supervise and maintain.

On this page you’ll find a quick mix of what matters most to decision makers: selected client notes, recognition highlights from recent work, and current training and credentials that support plan review. Use these as a quick reference for boards, principals, and city reviewers.

Award-Recognized Design Examples

These award-recognized playground site examples pull design cues and product selections from our manufacturing partners and the broader Bliss Products and Services network. They provide a practical way to compare what works on real sites, including layout flow, shade coverage, surfacing transitions, inclusive access routes, and long-term durability details.

If a similar approach fits your goals in your Alabama County, I can adapt the concept to local conditions and produce a review-ready package your team can act on, including drawings, quantities, budget bands, and current lead times tailored to your site and timeline.

Certifications for Alabama Projects

Each Alabama project is matched to the credentials and paperwork required by the authority having jurisdiction. Depending on the projects scope, that can include state-licensed contracting for permitted work, PE-sealed drawings and calculations, manufacturer authorization for installation, and standards cited in submittals. The goal is a clear, review-ready package that keeps approvals, procurement, and installation aligned.

Alabama licensed contractor, as required by scope

Certified General Contractor or the appropriate Alabama license for permitted work.

Alabama-licensed Professional Engineer (PE), when engineering is required

Signed and sealed drawings and calculations provided when needed, including wind and structural requirements for the site.

Manufacturer-authorized installer, when certification is available

Install teams follow current manufacturer installation instructions and documented methods.

NRPA Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), when inspection support is needed

Used for safety-focused review or inspection support when a project calls for it.

CPSC Public Playground Safety Handbook and ASTM standards referenced in submittals

Submittals cite recognized guidance and ASTM standards commonly used for equipment and surfacing review.

IPEMA certification, where available

Third-party IPEMA documentation is included when selected products participate in the program.
