Over the years, I have been fortunate to receive awards and professional recognition. These matter because they reflect the trust schools, parks departments, and community groups place in both me and Bliss Products and Services. The standard stays the same: do the job right, support the community, and deliver results that hold up in daily use.

Approvals move faster when documentation is clean and consistent. With support from the designers, engineers, and installers at Bliss Products and Services, local teams are guided from early project scoping through closeout with clear specifications, drawings, schedules, and submittals that fit Southwest Florida conditions.

This page is a quick overview of clients and credentials: short client notes that can be shared, a few recognition highlights, and the training and credentials kept current.

Most projects involve parks departments, school facilities, and neighborhood associations, but any local group or indivdual can start the conversation. Review teams typically look for clear plan views, inclusive product choices, durable materials, reliable coordination, and submittals that are easy to approve.

What my Clients say

Every project moves from early planning to a finished space. The notes below reflect feedback from schools, parks departments, and community groups across Southwest Florida about the process and the results delivered with Bliss Products and Services. Because many organizations limit public attribution, these are representative closeout comments that can be shared. Named references can be provided on request through the proper channels.
“Jim made a complex park upgrade feel simple. He laid out clear choices, kept pricing transparent, and delivered exactly what we approved on the timeline we set.”

“Submittals, specs, and procurement steps were handled quickly and cleanly with Bliss Products and Services. Our council sign-off was the smoothest it has been in years.”

“He knows the Gulf climate. Jim guided us to materials that handle salt air and heavy sun, and our maintenance team has had very little to worry about.”

“Jim phased the work around our school calendar and kept safety front and center. Students were back on new equipment the week we planned, with no surprises.”

“Communication was excellent from kickoff to closeout. Jim coordinated installers, checked site details in person, and resolved small items before they became issues.”

“Shade placement, surfacing, and access were thought through for families and ADA needs. Jim’s plan reads like a roadmap our staff can maintain for years.”

Certifications and Training for Southwest Florida

My credentials are kept current, and every project team is verified for the right licensing and documentation. That includes DBPR licensing when the project scope requires it, Florida-licensed PE involvement for engineered elements, manufacturer-authorized installation documentation, and the safety and standards references used in submittals. Working with Bliss Products and Services, the goal is a clean, review-ready package that keeps approvals and installation on track.

Florida DBPR-licensed contractor, as required by scope

Certified General Contractor, Certified Building Contractor, or the appropriate Florida license for permitted work.

Florida-licensed Professional Engineer (PE), when engineering is required

Signed and sealed engineering documents are used when required, including wind and structural requirements for the site.

Manufacturer-authorized installer, when certification is available

Install teams follow current manufacturer installation instructions and documented methods.

NRPA Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), when inspection support is needed

Used for safety-focused review or inspection support when a project calls for it.

CPSC Public Playground Safety Handbook + ASTM standards referenced in submittals

Submittals reference recognized guidance and ASTM standards commonly used for equipment and surfacing review.

IPEMA certification, where available

Third-party IPEMA certification documentation is included when the selected products participate in the program.

When you work with me, you get a Southwest Florida-focused lead backed by the Bliss Products and Services team and our manufacturing partners. Client feedback, recognition, and verified credentials support the same goal: clear documentation, compliant submittals, and a predictable path from review to installation. The end result is a finished space that performs reliably in daily use.
