Broward & Miami-Dade School District Projects

Working with schools across South Florida is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. In Broward and Miami-Dade counties, I’ve helped campuses like Bunche Park Elementary in Miami Gardens, Maplewood Elementary in Coral Springs, and Myrtle Grove Elementary in Opa-locka upgrade their play spaces to be safer, more engaging, and built for daily use.

Project Details

These projects combined new playground equipment, colorful surfacing, and much-needed shade. Students now enjoy spaces designed for active play and inclusive use, while durable materials ensure the playgrounds can stand up to Florida’s climate. Each campus gained a facility that feels modern, safe, and welcoming.

Personal Note:  Every school playground is an investment in children’s daily lives. My goal is to make sure those spaces last — and that they serve every student who walks through the gates.
From Miami and Fort Lauderdale to smaller communities like Homestead, Hialeah, Hollywood, and Pembroke Pines, every project reminds me that safe, shaded playgrounds truly change how kids experience their school day. Whether it’s a new shade canopy at a Miami-Dade elementary, a playground resurfacing in Port St. Lucie, or an inclusive play upgrade in Stuart or Vero Beach, I love seeing these spaces bring energy and connection to each neighborhood. My goal is always the same: helping schools and parks across South Florida create outdoor areas where children can thrive, no matter the size of the city or town.
