Bryson Park – Sylva, NC

In Sylva, Bryson Park is being revitalized with equipment that encourages climbing, exploration, and active fun. Even though the project is still underway, the goal is clear: create a vibrant play space that will be a centerpiece for families in Jackson County.

What excites me most about Bryson Park is its potential. Once complete, it will give Sylva families a safe, modern place to gather — something the town has been eager to provide. My role is making sure the design balances excitement with safety, and that the equipment is durable enough to handle daily use. Even in progress, Bryson Park already represents the kind of forward-thinking investment that strengthens communities across Western North Carolina.
