Hoover High School Track Shelter – Hoover, AL

When Hoover High School needed a reliable, weather-ready shelter for their track and field program, they wanted something that would look great, stand up to heavy use, and provide lasting protection from Alabama’s elements.  Partnering with Cedar Forest Products, we designed and installed a custom timber shelter that blends functionality with a classic, natural look.

Project Details

This project involved the installation of a large, open-air timber shelter positioned alongside the school’s track.  Built with high-quality treated wood from Cedar Forest Products, the structure offers shade for athletes during hot training days and protection from the rain during events.  The design was chosen to complement the surrounding campus while providing a durable, low-maintenance solution for the school’s sports teams.

Personal Reflection: Seeing the students and coaches using the shelter for the first time was a highlight for me – it’s rewarding to know this space will support both competition and community for many seasons ahead.
