John Williams Park Nature Themed Playground

John Williams Park wanted a playground that felt like an extension of the woods instead of a separate play pad. Working with the parks department in Southeast Florida, Patty Carruthers and Bliss Products and Services supplied a nature themed play system that wraps around a central tree feature with bridges, decks, and multiple slides. The equipment uses earth tone posts, decks, and panels so it blends into the live oak canopy and gives children a tree house style experience.

A deep green poured in place rubber surface provides accessible routes to the main decks, climbers, and slides while keeping the look natural. The layout keeps supervision sightlines open for caregivers, with cozy play pockets that still feel connected to the larger park. The result is a shaded, nature themed neighborhood playground that fits the character of John Williams Park and is built for daily community use.

Personal Note:  Every playground and park is an investment in children’s and the local communities daily lives. My goal is to make sure those spaces last — and that they serve every visitor who walks through the gates.
