Kituwah Academy – Cherokee, NC
At Kituwah Academy, serving the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, we created a playground that celebrates cultural pride while supporting active play. The design included spaces for younger and older children, balancing inclusive play with durability. It’s a project that shows how schools can blend tradition and modern recreation.
Across Western North Carolina, no two projects are ever exactly the same, and that’s what makes this work so meaningful. Whether it’s a small-town church playground, a county park upgrade, or a school installation for hundreds of children, every space is built with care and designed to last. With the support of Bliss Products and Services, I’m committed to helping communities across the Blue Ridge and foothills create outdoor spaces that reflect their values and serve future generations.
