Bliss Products and Services worked alongside Play & Park Structures to augment the community pool house and pavilion with a destination playground designed to support everyday use.The installation features three unique structures with large, integrated shade. That shade coverage helps keep play zones cooler and more comfortable in the Louisiana sun, supporting longer visits and easier supervision near the amenity core.Designed to serve a growing neighborhood of more than 2,500 homes across this 1,100-acre community, the playground adds a central place for connection, creativity, and active play.

Integrated shade was a key planning element for this site. By combining three distinct play structures and shade coverage into one coordinated play destination, the area works naturally alongside the pool house and pavilion and stays comfortable during warm-weather months.

Project highlights:  This playground was planned as part of a broader amenity hub, giving residents a place to gather before or after time at the pool and pavilion. When play, shade, and supporting amenities sit together, families can stay longer and the space becomes a natural neighborhood meeting point.Shade-forward playground layouts are especially valuable in Gulf Coast climates. Integrated shade helps improve comfort for children and caregivers, encourages more consistent day-to-day use, and supports a better overall experience during hotter periods.
