Oasis Elementary School North & South – Cape Coral, FL

I’m fortunate to work on projects that truly shape the communities I call home. From coastal parks and shaded playgrounds to neighborhood gathering spaces, each one is the result of close collaboration with local schools, parks departments, and community groups. These projects reflect the unique needs of Southwest Florida, withstand our climate, and create spaces people can enjoy for years to come.

Oasis Elementary School North & South – Cape Coral, FL

When the Oasis Charter School System decided it was time to upgrade the playgrounds at both Oasis Elementary North and South, they wanted spaces that were safe, fun, and built to handle years of Florida sun and storms. Bliss Products and Services was brought in to make it happen — and I was lucky enough to be part of the process.

Project Details

In February 2025, the City of Cape Coral Charter School Authority approved the full replacement of both playgrounds, with Bliss Products and Services as the supplier. We worked under a piggyback contract with Manatee Schools to streamline the process and get the right equipment in place quickly. At Oasis Elementary North, the project value came in at $228,120.20 – a big investment in making sure the youngest students have safe, modern equipment to enjoy every day.

What I liked most about this project was knowing that these upgrades will be used by hundreds of kids every week – not just now, but for years to come. From the equipment choices to the layout, everything was designed with safety, accessibility, and play value in mind. It’s a great example of what’s possible when a school community, local government, and the right partners come together to create something special for kids.

No two projects are ever quite the same – and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about this work.  Whether you’re just starting to sketch ideas or already have a clear direction, I’m happy to help you think it through and find the right fit for your space.  I’ll share what’s worked well in other Florida communities, walk you through the details, and make sure you feel confident moving forward.  Big or small, if you’ve got a project on the horizon, I’d love to be part of it.
