Princess Anne Athletic Complex Playground

Separate Play Areas for Ages 2–5 and 5–12

Located at Princess Anne Athletic Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia, this new playground provides a dedicated place for children to play alongside the facility’s athletic fields.

The playground includes separate play areas designed for children ages 2–5 and 5–12. Multiple structures provide age-appropriate opportunities for sliding, climbing, balancing, exploring and imaginative play.

The larger play area features blue and lime-green slides, elevated platforms, rope-net climbers, climbing panels and several routes through the structure. Lower platforms, smaller slides, activity panels and compact climbing features provide additional options for younger children.

Decorative overhead panels give the structures a distinctive appearance, while engineered wood-fiber surfacing extends throughout the play area. Benches positioned around the playground provide seating for parents, caregivers and other visitors.

Bliss Products and Services worked with the City of Virginia Beach to complete this new playground at Princess Anne Athletic Complex. The combination of separate age-group areas, varied climbing challenges, slides and interactive activities gives children several ways to move through and explore the playground.
