Princess Anne Athletic Complex Playground

Separate Play Areas for Ages 2–5 and 5–12

Located at Princess Anne Athletic Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia, this new playground provides a dedicated place for children to play alongside the facility’s athletic fields.

The playground includes separate play areas designed for children ages 2–5 and 5–12. Multiple structures provide age-appropriate opportunities for sliding, climbing, balancing, exploring and imaginative play.

The larger play area features blue and lime-green slides, elevated platforms, rope-net climbers, climbing panels and several routes through the structure. Lower platforms, smaller slides, activity panels and compact climbing features provide additional options for younger children.

Decorative overhead panels give the structures a distinctive appearance, while engineered wood-fiber surfacing extends throughout the play area. Benches positioned around the playground provide seating for parents, caregivers and other visitors.

Blue and lime-green open slides, an enclosed tube slide, climbing walls, rope nets, overhead climbing elements, activity panels and varied access points are distributed across the playground. Engineered wood-fiber surfacing, decorative overhead panels and nearby benches complete the play area.

Bliss Products and Services worked with the City of Virginia Beach to bring this new playground to Princess Anne Athletic Complex. The completed project provides children with dedicated play opportunities while families visit the complex for practices, league games and tournaments.

Princess Anne Athletic Complex is located at 4001 Dam Neck Road in Virginia Beach. The facility includes eight lighted tournament-quality ball diamonds and eight multipurpose playing fields used for sports such as football and soccer.
