Woodleaf Park – Rowan County, NC

Across Western North Carolina, every project begins with listening — to teachers, pastors, city planners, and parents who care about their community. From school play areas in Cherokee to county shelters in Rowan and church playgrounds in Clemmons, the result is more than just equipment. These are places where families gather, children grow, and neighbors feel connected.

Woodleaf Park – Rowan County, NC

Woodleaf Park was designed to be a central gathering spot for Rowan County families. The playground combines age-appropriate play equipment with shade and site furnishings, making it a year-round destination. Partnering with local leaders, I focused on durability and accessibility so the park can serve the community for decades.

What stands out to me about Woodleaf Park is how quickly it became part of daily life for the community. Families use it after school, on weekends, and for special events, proving the design works for all ages. With support from Bliss Products and Services, the equipment is built to last while blending into the park’s natural setting. It’s a project I’m proud of because it reflects Rowan County’s commitment to creating safe, welcoming spaces for everyone.

Across Western North Carolina, no two projects are ever exactly the same, and that’s what makes this work so meaningful. Whether it’s a small-town church playground, a county park upgrade, or a school installation for hundreds of children, every space is built with care and designed to last. With the support of Bliss Products and Services, I’m committed to helping communities across the Blue Ridge and foothills create outdoor spaces that reflect their values and serve future generations.
