New Playground – City of Virginia Beach
2023 NRPA Gold Medalist Winner, City of Virginia Beach replaced a play structure that was over twenty-five years old with this new play structure which is helping to revitalize a community by providing a current and safe area for children of all ages.
The City worked with our team at BPS to design and install this incredible new playground. We provided an innovative play structure that allows for full accessibility and inclusiveness so children of ALL ages and abilities can enjoy active playtime together.
Safety was a top priority for this playground revitalization project. All equipment meets current guidelines and standards, ensuring this will be a safe place for local kids to play for years to come. We also worked closely with the city to choose play elements that inspire open-ended play, imagination, and healthy development for Virginia Beach children.
The result is a stunning, engaging, SAFE new playground that Virginia Beach families are already embracing. Kids have a wonderful new place to exercise their bodies and minds. And the City now has an appealing community asset to be proud of for decades.
