More than 90% of my work comes from referrals and repeat clients. I’m proud of that because it shows communities across Southeast Florida trust me, Patty Carruthers, to deliver results. For over 35 years, I’ve helped cities, schools, HOAs, and neighborhood groups create safe, beautiful outdoor spaces across Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Okeechobee, and Monroe counties. Whether it’s a new playground, a dog park renovation, or a shade and shelter installation, my focus is on long-term value and community impact.
I’ve supported projects of every size, from Miami Gardens’ $60 million bond program to park renovations in Hollywood and the Florida Keys. Each installation, whether a playground, pavilion, sports court, or fitness area, is planned so it meets today’s needs and continues serving families, students, and residents for years to come.
Working in South Florida means designing with our climate in mind. From coastal weather and year-round sun to high-traffic use in schoolyards and public parks, I help communities choose the right playground equipment, surfacing, and site furnishings for local conditions. By factoring in safety standards, ADA accessibility, and durability, I ensure each space is built to perform season after season.

Those relationships mean I understand what communities truly need, whether durable surfacing for high-traffic schools, shaded seating for neighborhood parks, or safe, inclusive equipment for children of all abilities.
