Neal Hamilton supports South Carolina playground and park sites from the coast and into the Midlands through Bliss Products and Services. With a parks and trails planning background, he emphasizes clear documentation, practical site decisions, and project scopes that are easy to evaluate. Before joining Bliss Products in 2025, Neal spent nearly eight years with the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism as State Trails Coordinator and Recreational Trails Program Grants Manager, working with towns, nonprofits, and community groups statewide to plan and fund recreation projects.
He works with schools, churches, and municipalities as they select playground systems, shade and shelter structures, surfacing, and site furnishings that fit the site and budget and meet review requirements. The focus is to keep options clear, match choices with everyday use, and move decisions forward without unnecessary complexity.
Away from projects, Neal coaches youth basketball, lends a hand with baseball leagues, and follows the Braves with his kids. Time outdoors often includes South Carolina trail routes such as the Palmetto Trail and the Three Rivers Greenway.
Neal has received statewide and national trail and recreation recognition, including Coalition for Recreational Trails Achievement Awards. His priority is helping communities create outdoor spaces where families can play, connect, and spend time outside.
Most projects begin with a familiar checklist. Neal helps coordinate play, shade, surfacing, shelters, and furnishings with the site, code requirements, and long-term upkeep so options are easier to compare and decisions stay practical.
- Play systems, climbers, and independent play elements
- Shade canopies and umbrellas
- Safety surfacing: PIP rubber, turf, EWF
- Park shelters, pavilions, and restroom buildings
- Dog parks and agility elements
- Outdoor fitness, site furnishings, bike parking, waste and recycling
- Field and court sports equipment, bleachers, and team seating
- Inclusive layouts with ADA-aware options
Send a sketch or basic dimensions and Neal can assemble specification-ready choices with budget-range guidance and an expected timeline coordinated through the team at Bliss Products and Services. He supports the documentation needed for review and purchasing, and can narrow decisions for shade, surfacing, furnishings, and play into a short list that fits your locations building codes and budget. Once a direction is selected, he confirms key details for pricing and coordination.
